How do I order from Rogers & Company?

There are a few ways to order from Rogers & Company.

If you are a retail client (private individual): You can use the shopping cart function on this website. Once your order is submitted you’ll be contacted to arrange the purchase. You can call 416-961-2294 x 29 and speak directly with Chris McLean, Sales Manager for private clients, or you can send Chris an e-mail. Payment is not necessary to place an order. After you place an order, we will follow up within 24 hours to confirm product availability, request payment information, and discuss delivery options.

What is consignment wine and how does the program work?

Most of the wines listed on Rogers & Company’s price list are consignment wines. Consignment wines are imported by the LCBO through their Private Ordering division. Approximately 75% of the wine selection in Ontario is imported through the consignment program. Rogers & Company acts as a sales agent: we arrange the purchase and delivery of wine from the LCBO to you.

What is Rogers & Company’s relationship with the wineries in their portfolio?

Rogers & Company is the exclusive agent for all of wineries in our portfolio in Ontario, whether they appear at LCBO retail stores or are sold via the LCBO’s consignment program.

Are Rogers & Company wines available (by the bottle) at LCBO retail stores?

Many of our wines are available at LCBO retail stores. You can find these wines in the LCBO’s monthly Classics Collection releases and bi-monthly Vintages releases. Can I buy wine from Rogers & Company if I live outside of Ontario?

We are not permitted to sell wine to any address outside of Ontario.

Can I buy a mixed case of wine (i.e. More than one type of wine in a case) or a single bottle?

Unfortunately, we cannot sell single bottles, mixed cases, or partial cases due to LCBO regulations. All of our wines are sold by the unmixed case. A number of our premium wines are packed six bottles per case or three bottles per case – this is clearly noted on our price list and on the website product descriptions.

How does the wine get to me? Do I have to pick it up?

For consumers living in the Greater Toronto/Hamilton/Niagara areas, we offer daytime delivery to your home or office free of charge provided the order is for more than one case. We charge a delivery fee of $15 [plus HST] for single cases. For clients in south/central Ontario, we offer delivery for a $20 flat rate [plus HST], regardless of case volume. Generally, orders can be delivered within five business days.

For all clients, we can also ship wines to an LCBO of your choice at no cost. Shipment to an LCBO store usually takes two to four weeks, but may take up to eight weeks based on season and distance. The cases arrive pre-paid. We e-mail you the invoice and credit card slip, and the LCBO store gives you a call to let you know when the order has arrived.

After you place an order (by phone, e-mail, or online ordering), we will contact you to choose the best delivery option for you.

Does your price list include taxes/HST?

The retail (private client) price list includes HST. A 20 cent bottle deposit is not included.

Because restaurants can claim back the HST, our licensee price list does not include HST.
