On the nose one finds notes of lemon grass, lime peel and passionfruit with background notes of white currant and red pepper. On the palate the wine is medium-bodied with white peach, tropical fruits and citrus flavours and a dry mineral finish. It is best drank young, but does have the balance to age gracefully.
“Weighty, flavoursome Sauvignon Blanc with a mix of gooseberry, tomato leaf and green capsicum flavours, with riper passionfruit, melon and nectarine together with a suggestion of ‘wet stone’ mineral.”
95/100 points, Bob Campbell, MW
“Crisp lime, grapefruit, passion fruit and lemongrass flavours show accents of fresh ginger. Smooth and succulent, especially on the finish. Drink now.”
