LCBO Vintages Release
2014 was a stunning vintage in Sonoma County. It was the kind of year when grapes were allowed to hang for an extra long time, developing seriously concentrated opulent flavour. Angels & Cowboys excels at blending Sonoma fruit sourced from the County’s best growers. Their 2014 is incredible value, not a wine to miss. The blend combines Zinfandel, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
There’s no denying it: This is a big, bold, soulful, flavourful wine. Lush aromas of Bing cherries, chocolate, and sandalwood. On the palate, mouth-filling body and silky texture. Seamlessly integrated new and neutral French oak accentuate layers of spicy dark fruit.
“A formidable bouquet of vanilla, herbs, violets, and fruit cake jumps from the glass. A plush, dark fruit forms the palate, with flavors of baked blueberries, cherry compote, and eucalyptus, all underlined by an oak structure that is subtly palpable throughout. Bold and assertive. Excellent. Highly recommended.”

“Medium to deep garnet coloured, the 2014 Proprietary Red exudes black berry preserves and baking spice notes with hints of incense and licorice. Full-bodied, rich and with a lovely velvety texture, it finishes with lingering baked berries, cinnamon and clove flavours. Great value! 2017-2019”
