Type: Sparkling Wine
Vintage: Non-Vintage
Delamotte Brut is a blend of approximately 55% Chardonnay, which sets the framework for the wine; 35% Pinot Noir, which brings fruitiness and richness; and 10% Pinot Meunier, for aromatic charm. These combine in a wine of subtle power, appealing freshness, soft curves, and a precise, fresh fruit finish. This is a dry and extremely attractive champagne, balanced and elegant.

Aged on the lees for 30 to 36 months to build creamy texture, Delamotte Brut receives a light dosage. This wine is extremely food-friendly. No need to age, it can be popped anytime!

“(50% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Meunier, with 7 g/l dosage): Bright straw. Vibrant aromas of lemon pith, pear skin and honeysuckle, with a chalky topnote. Dry, sharply focused lemon and lime flavors become deeper with air and pick up brioche and ginger nuances. Firm, chewy and dry, finishing with very good clarity and stony persistence.”

“A cleverly orchestrated reductive edge to the nose, this has a layer of toasted cashew ahead of citrus, peach, spice, fine cherry and raspberry fruits. The palate’s nicely crafted to deliver an even and smooth impression. Red fruit flavors run long and smooth, with some fresh bread dough notes too; nicely yeasty to close.”

“Well-knit and balanced, this sleek Champagne offers notes of fresh-cut apple, smoky mineral, biscuit and preserved lemon on the fine, lacy mousse. Drink now through 2018.”
