This elegant wine is composed of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sémillon harvested from Duckhorn’s Estate vineyard and other select Napa Valley sites. A portion (8%) of the Sauvignon Blanc was barrel-fermented in new French oak. This technique, along with the addition of Sémillon, produce a deep and complex aroma and silky palate, enhancing the ripe citrus and tropical flavours of the Sauvignon Blanc.
This vibrant Sauvignon Blanc begins with enticing aromas of lemongrass, lychee, passion-fruit, melon and pineapple, followed by hints of white nectarine and lime. On the juicy palate, a subtle viscosity is perfectly balanced by refreshing acidity that adds precision to the citrus and tropical fruit flavours, while driving the wine to a bright, zesty finish.
