LCBO Vintages Release
This Brut is composed of 40% Pinot Meunier, 35% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir from Premier Cru vineyards around the villages of Hautvillers, Dizy and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. The vines grow in mineral-rich clay, limestone, and chalk soil that retains the day’s heat through cool nights. This wine highlights the unique character of the terroir rather than the qualities of a particular year.
Grapes are always harvested by hand and vinified by vineyard parcel in small tanks. Following secondary fermentation, the wine aged on lees for three years prior to dégorgement.
“The latest rendition of the NV Brut Premier Cru Tradition is excellent, unfurling in the glass with aromas of mandarin, apple, freshly baked bread and white flowers. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with tangy acids, a fine mousse and a generous but vibrant core of fruit. It’s an expressive, giving Champagne that will offer a broad drinking window—and it’s also a great value.”

“Pretty floral and ripe cherry notes waft through this creamy Champagne, backed by vibrant acidity and layered with lemon curd, pastry dough and grated ginger accents. Disgorged May 2017. Drink now through 2020.”
