This Beaujolais rosé is 100% Gamay, hand-harvested from 50-year-old Gobelet-trained vines grown in clay and limestone soils. Grapes are directly pressed and cold fermented. The wine is then aged for five months in stainless steel tanks to round it out.
Pale and lively pink in colour, this rosé is deliciously fruity with notes of red berries, mandarin, violet and hints of citrus zest. It’s fresh and bright, with a crisp acidity on the palate, and a soft, round finish.
“Clear pink color, limpid. Nose of small red fruits, with a touch of flint. On the palate, a light, crisp, rather dry rosé, with well-developed fruit. A rosé without artifice, with a tangy finish. For cold meats and cheeses.”
