Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot

Burgundy

Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot is a historic estate that, for many years, focused primarily on the French market. In recent years, a new generation has stepped forward to bring the domaine to international prominence. Spearheaded by the dynamic duo of Claire Fleurot, the domaine’s energetic Commercial Director, and winemaker Thomas Colladot, this next chapter is defined by ambition, precision, and a deep respect for tradition.

Claire leads the marketing efforts both in France and abroad, while Thomas, a talented and thoughtful winemaker, oversees the vineyards and cellar. Together, they steward the domaine’s exceptional holdings with vision and care.

The family’s vineyard portfolio is particularly impressive, comprising six Grand Cru parcels in the Côte de Nuits. These include significant plots in Grands Échezeaux, Échezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, Charmes-Chambertin, Clos de la Roche, and Clos Saint-Denis.

Thomas shares a close friendship—and winemaking philosophy—with Sébastien Cathiard, one of Burgundy’s most acclaimed producers. Both believe that great wine begins in the vineyard, and their shared commitment to meticulous viticulture is evident in the quality of their respective estates. The two often taste together, exchanging insights and reinforcing their shared pursuit of excellence.

The wines of Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot are celebrated for their elegance, precision, and faithful expression of terroir—a true reflection of Burgundy at its finest.
