Domaine Hubert Brochard is a multi-generational estate in the heart of Sancerre, unwavering in its dedication to expressing the richness and diversity of the region’s famed terroirs. Since its founding in 1900, the Brochard family has cultivated 89 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir across seven of Sancerre’s most celebrated villages, crafting wines that are both expressive and refined.
Over the years, the estate has grown through the dedication of successive generations—from Hubert and Aimée, to their son Henri and his wife Thérèse, and later their children Daniel, Jean-François, and Benoît. Today, the legacy continues with Daniel’s daughters, Caroline and Anne-Sophie, and the support of the Bollinger Group, which joined the estate in 2022. Their combined efforts have brought Brochard wines to a global audience while staying true to their roots.
In the cellar, precision meets tradition. Each parcel is vinified separately in small vats, and the aging process is carefully tailored to highlight the unique character of each wine. Whether in stainless steel, concrete, vintage barrels, or amphorae—introduced in 2023 to encourage gentle micro-oxygenation—the goal remains the same: to let the land speak.
Domaine Hubert Brochard wines are a celebration of place, heritage, and thoughtful craftsmanship—each bottle a reflection of the family’s enduring commitment to quality and authenticity.
