Maison Delamain

Cognac

Delamain has been called Cognac royalty, with a history that stretches back to the 1600s. Their trademark incorporates the coat of arms of the house’s antecedent, Nicolas Delamain, who was presented with a knighthood in 1625. The house remains family-run to the present day.

Delamain has produced Cognac since the mid-18th century, when they were considered one of the leading Cognac houses. They take pride in producing Cognacs that are somewhat out of the ordinary, and of exceptional quality; they don’t produce a Cognac with a quality rating lower than XO.

Like many of the great Cognac houses, Delamain produces its Cognac from carefully selected and tested eaux-de-vie, produced by family farms throughout the region.

In addition to their classic offerings such as Delamain Pale & Dry XO, Delamain & Cie are well known for their specialty Cognacs, producing limited editions of Vintage-dated Cognacs sourced exclusively from Grande Champagne (the most renowned and sought-after terroir in the Cognac region).
