The Chanson Pere et Fils Chassagne Montrachet takes its grapes from three plots of vineyards ideally located in the heart of the village of Chassagne Montrachet – just neighbouring the Premiers Crus.
Upon arrival at the winery, the grapes were gently pressed before being entirely barrel-fermented and aged in oak in Chanson’s XVth century cellars for 12 to 14 months. Classically Chassagne-Montrachet, this round and generous wine shows a nose of fresh citrus, honeysuckle and a touch of toast. It has a refreshing multi-layered palate of verbena, hazelnut and fresh butter. These wines are precise with beautiful fruit integration.

- Chassagne Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru 2017
“Petrol presently is the dominant aroma among the ripe and mildly exotic scents of dried apricot, white peach and citrus peel. The sleek and delicious medium-bodied flavors possess a more refined mouth feel thanks to the seductive texture that carries over to the lingering and slightly more structured finish. This isn’t quite as dense as the Bastion or as sappy as the Clos des Mouches but it offers the best sense of underlying tension.”

- Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches 2016
“White flowers, iodine, apple, lemon and pastry flavors mark this lean, intense white. Complex, in a tightly wound style, with a smoky, minerally finish. Drink now through 2023.”
