The 1996 harvest of Dry Creek Zinfandel became the first wine produced by Dashe Cellars, and it remains their calling card. Sourced from two of Anne and Mike’s favourite vineyards, the Reserve Zin is a barrel-by-barrel selection that aims to show off all the best characteristics of the Dry Creek Valley.
This is a fruit-driven, dry, and complex wine balanced by a seam of fresh acidity. The concentrated fruit flavours can easily support the introduction of up to 20% new oak, which lends additional nuance. Dry Creek Reserve is a wine for today, but it will continue to develop in your cellar.
