These vineyards are located on the left bank of the Serein Riverin, in the village of Chablis, the very heart of the Chablis country. Facing south-south east, the vineyard soil is rich in calcareous Kimmeridgian clay dating back to the Jurrassic age. The vines are over 50 years old. Grapes are hand-harvested and sorted. The wine is fermented in steel tanks, then left to rest on lees for 10 months.
“(100% stainless). A mildly fruity nose reflects additional notes of quinine, citrus and ocean breeze. The racy and nicely detailed medium weight flavours that flash a touch of youthful austerity on the refreshing medium dry finale. This should drink well relatively early on. 2023+“
