| Collection | Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot |
Domaine Coquard Loison Fleurot is a historic Burgundy estate now recognized as one of the region’s rising stars. Led by Claire Fleurot and winemaker Thomas Colladot, the domaine takes a low-intervention approach rooted in tradition and precision. With prized holdings in six Grand Cru vineyards—including Grands Échezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, and Clos de la Roche—the wines are hand-harvested, aged for 18 months in oak, and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
The most northerly Grand Cru in Morey-Saint-Denis, Clos de la Roche is widely regarded as the appellation’s finest. This wine captures the vineyard’s signature profile with a supple, silky texture and a layered bouquet of dark red and black fruits, forest undergrowth, and a whisper of truffle on the finish. It’s a benchmark expression of this storied site—both sensual and structured.
Pairs well with rib steak or glazed duck, and holds up beautifully to the aromatic complexity of refined Asian cuisine.
“The usual classy fresh colour. The bouquet is a thing of beauty, very subtle, also supple, with floral notes. Silky in texture, the fruit is a darker red here, plus blueberry, more sensual than savoury though the finish brings us back to classic Clos de la Roche. All in harmony Drink from 2032-2040.”
