Langlois Chateau has a long history as a leading producer in the Loire Valley. It was founded in 1885 by Edouard Langlois and Jeanne Chateau. In 1973, the Bollinger family invested in the domaine, bringing new life into the vineyards and modernizing production. They now own 175 acres of vineyards across the Loire Valley.
This wine is 100% Chenin Blanc manually harvested and grown on limestone soils. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel, and matured on the fine lees for 4-6 months with batonnage and is bottled the Spring after harvest. Expect a pale yellow/gold hue with notes of white and exotic fruits with a citrusy finish. This wine is lovely to drink on release, and can age gracefully for up to five years.
