Lis Neris

A cuvée where Pinot Grigio, Gewürztraminer and Riesling coexist harmoniously. Pinot Grigio is the backbone giving structure, softness, and warmth. Gewürztraminer is decisive for its aromatic quality. Riesling is crucial for achieving the right structural balance.

The Pinot Grigio and Gewürztraminer are late harvested and are fermented and matured in neutral oak barrels for 11 months on the fine lees with judicious stirring.  It then rests in bottle for another 12 months before release.

The experience starts with floral aromas moving to exotic fruit and finishing with spice. Full-bodied, with a textured quality, rich in orchard fruit, dried mango, candied pineapple and a floral, savoury finish. Try with creamy gorgonzola, or a great accompaniment to spicy food.

“Grapefruit, dried flowers, lychee and some preserved lemon on the nose. Intense dried-citrus character. Full-bodied. Lightly bitter floral notes to close. Pinot grigio, traminer and riesling. Drink now.”
91 points, James Suckling, June 2022

“The 2018 Confini is exotic, with peach preserves and int giving way to crushed rocks, sage, fresh cucumber and tomate leaf. This is a textured thrill-ride, weighty and almost oily yet lively and fresh, with salty minerals and acidity to balance its opulent ripe melon and orchard fruits. There’s a hint of heat here, yet it doesn’t get in the way, as the 2018 finishes long yet remarkably fresh. Confini is a blend of Pinot Grigio, Gewurztraminer and a dollop of Rhine Riesling.”
90 points, Eric Guido, Vinous Media, January 2023
