Château Saint-Maur is one of Provence’s historic Cru Classé estates, a distinction dating back to 1955 and held by only 18 wineries. Set in the village of Cogolin, near the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, the château itself was built in the late 19th century and today spans roughly 100 hectares across the foothills of the Maures Massif. The estate entered a new era after its acquisition by Roger Zannier in 2011, with a renewed focus on precision, elegance, and high-end Provençal rosé.
For the M by Saint Maur Côtes de Provence Rosé 2025, the setting is classic Côtes de Provence: a Mediterranean landscape shaped by sunshine and cooling influences, with soils of schist and quartz-rich clay-limestone that help give the wine its freshness and mineral edge.
This rosé is made from Provençal grape varieties including Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, which are de-stemmed and fermented in 100% stainless steal tanks to preserve freshness and aromatics. In the glass, expect a delicate salmon hue with lively aromas of white peaches. On the palate, freshly squeezed grapefruit and juicy small red berries are supported by crisp acidity and an elegant finish.
Pair it with niçoise salad, grilled shrimp, tuna crudo, or herb-roasted chicken, foods that match the wines freshness, subtle fruit, and easy Provençal charm.
