Champ Gain vineyard is situated on the upper slopes, with great sun exposure. The predominantly limestone terroir gives the wine a fine balance between minerality and opulence.

After a manual harvest, the grapes are pressed carefully in a pneumatic press. The wine is then aged for 17 months, 5 of which take place in stainless steel, and the remainder in oak barrels (20% new oak).

Expect a spicy nose, with notes of white peach and buttered toast. On the palate, the wine is fine grained with good length. Ideal with fresh salmon, scallops, and strong cheese.
