Nestled in the hilly amphitheater of Tuscany’s Maremma region, above the historic Prelius coastal lake, lies a thriving vineyard farmed organically by the Stianti Mascheroni family of Castello di Volpaia. Known as Prelius, this vineyard marks the family’s first venture beyond Chianti Classico, where they are renowned leaders in Tuscany’s organic wine-growing movement.

The Cabernet Sauvignon from Prelius is a rich yet elegant wine, showcasing beautiful tannins and a long, seamless finish. Designed for early enjoyment, it is aged for nine to ten months in large French oak casks, followed by an additional three months in the bottle to refine its character.
