Viña Aquitania is a boutique Chilean estate with serious Bordeaux pedigree, founded by Bruno Prats of Château Cos d’Estournel, Paul Pontallier of Château Margaux, and Chilean winemaker Felipe de Solminihac. Set in Peñalolén at the foot of the Andes, in the historic heart of the Maipo Valley, the winery has built its reputation on elegant, terroir-driven wines with a distinctly Chilean sense of freshness and mountain-grown precision.
The Viña Aquitania “A” Chardonnay is a beautifully fresh and refined expression of Chilean Chardonnay. Grown in the cool Malleco Valley, this wine offers bright aromas of citrus, green apple, and subtle stone fruit, layered with a clean mineral edge and a touch of gentle creaminess from lees aging. On the palate, it is vibrant and elegant, with crisp acidity, a silky texture, and a long, refreshing finish.
This is not a heavy, buttery Chardonnay; instead, it leans toward a more precise and mineral-driven style, making it a fantastic choice for fans of white Burgundy, Chablis, or cool-climate New World Chardonnay. Pair it with grilled seafood, roast chicken, creamy pasta, shellfish, or soft cheeses.
