LUKE

Located in the Columbia Valley, LUKE produces wines from the home of some of the best Washington wines, the Wahluke Slope AVA. Founded in 2012 by husband and wife team Thomas and Kristin Vogele, LUKE concentrates on bold reds sourced from distinct vineyards on the Wahluke Slope.

LUKE Wines is named for this sub-AVA, with each varietal’s fruit sourced from its own selection of distinct vineyards. Protected from wet weather by both the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges, Columbia Valley vineyards enjoy warm and dry conditions in the eastern part of the state, and the Wahluke Slope has one of the two warmest microclimates within the AVA. Wines made from grapes grown here are ripe and full-bodied with pure varietal fruit flavours.
