Fruit for Cannonball’s 2018 Chardonnay was sourced from vineyards around northern California. The wine fermented and aged in an even mix of French oak and stainless steel, and malolactic influence was kept to a minimum. The result is a wonderfully balanced wine that is easy to love.
The nose of this wine will grab you from the get-go: Complex and racy notes pineapple, vanilla, honeysuckle, and sweet caramel corn grounded by a creamy minerality. The rich profile continues on the palate with delicate melon and citrus flavours. The finish is long and bright.
