Domaine Vacheron is one of Sancerre’s most respected and pioneering properties. With a storied history starting with Maurice Vacheron, who started with a few vines, through generational growth and changes. The winery was certified organic and achieved biodynamic status in the early 2000s. Currently run by cousins, Jean-Dominque and Jean-Laurent Vacheron, these biodynamic practices are meticulously implemented and yields are kept extremely low.
The Vacheron Rosé is a single-variety Pinot Noir rosé. The vines are over thirty years old and grow in soils composed mainly of flint and marl. This expressive and unique rosé exhibits aromas of red berries, blood oranges, and sea salt. Tangy and lively, with great balance. It’s an elegant and unique choice.
