Produced using hand-harvested fruit picked at night when the berries are cool, Crossbarn’s Napa Cabernet is a showcase for some of the valley’s best vineyards. Fruit macerated for nearly a month following fermentation by native yeast, then spent roughly 20 months maturing in French oak (mostly old).
“The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is soft, plummy and wonderfully inviting. Inky dark fruit, licorice, spice, lavender and menthol build effortlessly in the glass, with silky tannins that add notable finesse. Dollops of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec round out the blend. The Crossbarn Cabernet is a blend of fruit from sites in Coombsville, Rutherford, Calistoga, Oak Knoll and Oakville.”

“A juicy, fruity red with plum, blueberry, chocolate and some hazelnut. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a delicious finish. Always balanced and excellent quality. Drink in 2022.”
