J. Denuzière is a historic Rhône Valley house with roots dating back to 1876, when the winery was established in Condrieu. Caroline Moro has been the winemaker since 2014 focusing on freshness, elegance and relatively minimal intervention.
Their Côtes du Rhône, a blend of Syrah and Grenache, is a generous, easy-drinking expression of the region, built around ripe red and black fruit with notes of blackberry, plum and cherry layered with cracked pepper, dried herbs and a subtle touch of spice. The palate is supple and medium-bodied, with smooth tannins, fresh acidity and a savoury finish that keeps the wine balanced and incredibly food-friendly.
A versatile Rhône red that delivers plenty of character for the price, it is a natural match for grilled meats, sausages, roast chicken, burgers or a simple charcuterie board.
