Champagne Bollinger

Special Cuvée is a true testament to Bollinger’s commitment to excellence, crafted with meticulous attention to detail and using only the finest grapes from the Champagne region in France. Blending a harmonious selection of reserve wines from multiple vintages, this champagne showcases the distinct character and savoir-faire that has made Bollinger a revered name among connoisseurs.

Composed of over 85% Grand and Premier crus of the three main Champagne varieties: 60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 15% Meunier. Crafted with the utmost care, Special Cuvée is aged for a minimum of three years in Bollinger’s cellars, allowing it to develop its distinctive character and refined elegance. This champagne embodies the hallmark style of Bollinger, characterized by its full-bodied nature, refined acidity, and a lingering, mouthwatering finish.

Its vibrant golden color and persistent bubbles tantalize the senses. The symphony of aromas, including ripe fruits, toasted brioche, and delicate florals, creates a harmonious balance. On the palate, discover a rich, complex flavour profile with hints of honey, roasted nuts, and a touch of spice.

“60% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay, 15% Meunier sourced from more than 300 crus, including 85% grands and premiers crus; 15% fermented in old oak barrels. The complexity and richness of Special Cuvée is unparalleled among the entry non-vintage blends of every Champagne house, short of ascending to the mesosphere of Krug. Its grand recipe explains why, built on incredible depth of 50%-60% reserves. Triumphant complexity is a given at Bollinger, but it’s the dynamic freshness and vitality that really set it apart as one of the most affordable Champagne benchmarks.”

“Special Cuvée continues to be a highly regarded Champagne, which stays true to Bollinger’s rich and rewarding house style. The flavours are bright with toasty and biscuity notes that carry through to a persistent finish. The wine’s texture and fine bubbles add to the enjoyment. Drink now to 2024.”

“This harmonious Champagne is wonderfully vibrant as it dances across the palate, with the satinlike mousse carrying flavors of white cherry, Marcona almond and ground coffee that show accents of candied kumquat, ginger, aromatic verbena and graphite. A streak of racy salinity emerges on mouthwatering finish. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Drink now through 2025. 11,000 cases imported.”
