Viña Cobos is the Argentine venture of renowned winemaker Paul Hobbs, who has explored Mendoza’s premier terroirs since 1988. Focused on Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, the Bramare range showcases site-driven wines with depth and finesse. This Cabernet Sauvignon highlights the elegance and structure that Luján de Cuyo is known for.
The 2021 Bramare Cabernet Sauvignon is made with meticulous care, beginning with manual selection of clusters and berries. Fermented in stainless steel and undergoing 100% spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 25% new, and bottled unfined. It offers pure aromas of blackberry and violet, with flavours of dark raspberry, fresh herbs, and mineral notes. The palate is focused and polished, with fine tannins and a clean, lingering finish.
Pair this refined Cabernet with grilled meats, herb-crusted lamb, or mushroom risotto. Its structure, freshness, and complexity make it a versatile match for richly flavoured dishes.
“A very pretty cabernet sauvignon with currants, chocolate and hints of tobacco. Hazelnut, too. Medium to full body. Fine tannins and a pretty finish. Zesty energy. So delicious and energetic now. Drink or hold.”

“The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Bramare Luján de Cuyo was aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, 27% new. Garnet red with a purple sheen, it unfolds aromas of cassis and ripe currant, accompanied by hints of menthol and balsamic against a cedar backdrop. Dry, supple and bold, the intense flavors on the palate linger with a fitted mouthfeel due to its polished yet reactive tannins. This is a beautifully crafted Cabernet from a cold vintage.”
