The team at Olivier Leflaive takes great pride in the quality and value of their selections from the Côte Chalonnaise. These villages are situated to the south of the Côte de Beaune and represent a lighter, more fruit driven style of Chardonnay. They produce several cuvées from the villages of Rully.  Vauvry is one of 23 Premier Cru vineyards within the commune of Rully, in the Côte Chalonnaise sub-region of Burgundy.

Fermentation for the wine was in 16% new oak, the balance in barrels which had seen up to four previous vintages. Floral aroma. The palate evokes peach, perfume and minerality. The finish is concentrated on the fruit. Elegant.
