Viña Aquitania is a boutique Chilean estate with serious Bordeaux pedigree, founded by Bruno Prats of Château Cos d’Estournel, Paul Pontallier of Château Margaux, and Chilean winemaker Felipe de Solminihac. Set in Peñalolén at the foot of the Andes, in the historic heart of the Maipo Valley, the winery has built its reputation on elegant, terroir-driven Cabernet Sauvignon with a distinctly Chilean sense of freshness and mountain-grown precision.
The Viña Aquitania “A” Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautifully polished expression of Maipo Cabernet, offering classic notes of cassis, black cherry, red plum and fresh herbs, layered with hints of spice, cedar and subtle oak. The palate is smooth and elegant, with rounded tannins, vibrant fruit and a long, savoury finish. While generous and approachable, it keeps a sense of freshness and restraint that makes it especially food-friendly.
A fantastic choice for grilled steak, lamb chops, roast beef, burgers, aged cheddar or herb-crusted mushrooms.
