Viña Cobos’ Bramare Malbec comes from selected vineyards in Luján de Cuyo, one of Mendoza’s most historic and highly regarded regions for Malbec. The area’s combination of altitude, sunlight, and well-drained soils produces wines with depth, balance, and a clear sense of place.
The wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, with a restrained use of new wood, and bottled unfined to preserve texture and expression. It shows a deep ruby colour with violet tones, aromas of red fruit and plum layered with graphite and subtle floral notes. The palate is round and balanced, with juicy, sweet-edged tannins and a polished finish.
This Malbec pairs well with grilled meats, steak, and barbecue. It also works nicely with hearty stews, roasted vegetables, and semi-aged cheeses, making it a versatile choice at the table.
“The 2023 Malbec Bramare Luján de Cuyo comes from several growers across the district. It opens with violet and blackberry, hints of jammy fruit and gentle oak in the background. Classic in style, it remains compact, with tannins between plush and reactive—an imprint of the vintage—supported by appealing juiciness.”
